When you’re grieving the loss of a loved one the pressure and details of planning their funeral, celebration of life, or memorial service can be overwhelming. Our extremely caring team of ministers are highly experienced to walk alongside you and your family during this difficult time as we prepare and officiate a very thoughtful and heartfelt ceremony that will honor and celebrate the life of your loved one in a memorable and personal way.

Our officiants are all licensed and ordained ministers who have decades of pastoral experience officiating funerals and other end-of-life celebrations. You will quickly find comfort through our process — a process designed to build trust and relational rapport with you and your family as we get to know your loved one through your memories and stories of them. The experience you have with us will be very professional and, at the same time, highly relational giving you the confidence of knowing you’re in caring hands.

Funeral Officiant Fee: $495

FEE INCLUDES:

  • “Get To Know You” Consultation and Planning Session via Zoom with your minister/officiant.

  • Access link to your loved one’s “Get To Know Me” outline.

  • Unlimited email, text, and phone communication with your minister/officiant.

  • Preparation of the Order of Service.

  • Writing of your loved one’s end-of-life ceremony.

  • Final talk-through of the Order of Service and end-of-life ceremony via Zoom or phone, if desired.

  • Phone consultation with your Funeral Director, if applicable.

  • Travel related expenses for weddings inside the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area as defined below.

    Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan Area:
    We consider Dallas County, Denton County, Tarrant County, and Collin County to be inside the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. All other counties require a travel fee.

  • Arrive approximately 1 hour prior to the scheduled ceremony time.

  • Communicate with your Funeral Director, venue contact, musicians, and any other person important to the ceremony upon arrival, as applicable.

  • Officiate the end-of-life ceremony.

* Our fees include everything listed above as applicable to each ceremony.

* An additional travel fee will apply to ceremonies outside of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. The specific amount of the travel fee will be dependent upon the ceremony location and will clearly be communicated before a contract is sent. We consider Dallas County, Denton County, Tarrant County, and Collin County to be inside the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. All other counties require a travel fee.

* An additional fee of $100 will be added to any ceremony that falls on the following holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday through Monday), Independence Day, Labor Day Weekend (Saturday through Monday), and Thanksgiving Weekend (Thursday through Saturday).

* An additional fee of $100 will be added for any additional service (e.g. Graveside Service) taking place at a secondary location if your minister is requested to officiate the additional service(s).

Mathew DeBlanc, Founder and President

 
 

Before founding HIREAMINISTER.com, Mathew spent 18 years of his life in pastoral ministry at some of the nation’s leading churches as well as traveling nationally and internationally speaking to thousands, developing leaders, and equipping people for everyday life. Today he has devoted his life to walking alongside people during one of life’s most difficult moments and helping to honor their loved one in a memorable way.

Mathew holds a Bachelor Degree in Sociology from the University of North Texas and is an ordained minister who has officiated countless end-of-life celebrations. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Sarah, for 22 years and they have two kids, Jake (16) and Halli (13), to round out their family. Mathew enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family, dating his wife, traveling, hanging out with good friends, working out, and anything outdoors.


Joe Crenshaw

Joe has been in ministry as both a pastor and worship leader for over 15 years and also leads a non-profit called Light up the City alongside his wife. Joe has experienced healing and redemption in his own life which has given him a unique ability to come alongside families during one of life’s most difficult moments. Joe and his wife have four children (one who is in heaven), enjoys playing tennis, working out, cooking, and telling dad jokes. BILINGUAL

Kyle Embry

Kyle has been a pastor for over 20 years and has a plethora of experience helping families deal with the difficulty of losing a loved one. Currently he serves as the Executive Pastor of Freedom Church in Carrollton, TX. He and his wife have been married for 23 years and have a teenage daughter and son. In his free time, Kyle can be found on a golf course (he’s actually really good), perfecting his yard (you should see it), or watching a classic war movie.

 

Ignacio Cerda

Ignacio is a pastor at Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, TX where he serves as a Teaching Pastor for Stonebriar en Español. He also serves our nation as a U.S. Army Reserve Chaplain. Ignacio is originally from Monterrey, Mexico and lived in Peru and Mongolia before coming to the Sates where he eventually obtained a Masters of Arts in Christian Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. Ignacio and his family currently reside in Dallas, TX. BILINGUAL

Kelly James

Kelly is the Lead Pastor of Pathway of Life Church in Dallas, TX and has been in ministry for over 30 years. He has a powerful gift to connect with anyone his life crosses paths with and he is passionate about helping people experience hope in every season of life. Kelly and his wife have been married for 28 years and have two adult daughters. He loves adventuring through life with his family, dating his wife, and helping others live their best life possible.
